Got a bit of a head start rooting these cuttings in water. It only took about a week for these roots to pop out!

Happy New Year! Laeliocattleya and Phalaenopsis
We've had some weather down to freezing and a lot of rain lately. The bad weather didn't seem to adversely affect these orchids! The Laeliocattleya is outdoors year-round while the candy-striped phalaenopsis is in my kitchen window. A cheery way to usher in 2011!
